We first met in 2013 at a weekend church youth retreat (can you spot us?)

We started dating right after summer camp together in Sewanee, Tennessee.

We went to Haynes prom together, just a few blocks away from where our wedding reception will soon take place.

Gifford visited Wicker in Columbia, Missouri, on a beautiful fall weekend.

Wicker made visits to Gifford in Ruston, becoming a Louisiana Tech fan along the way.

Wicker adopted Truman, though Gifford would soon become his favorite.

We spent many Mardi Gras together, often watching parades right across the street from the church where we will soon marry.

We moved to Florida, where we still live, enjoying lots of sunshine and walks on the beach.

We spent a lot of time at Walt Disney World, too.

We spent our first Easter together in Florida, with Gifford's rabbit Barry serving as our Easter Bunny.

Wicker asked Gifford to marry him on her birthday, culminating a week-long trip to New York City. She said yes.
